For 27 years and counting, My Friend’s Place has been assisting and inspiring homeless youth to build self-sufficient lives.
From a small volunteer-led effort serving meals from the trunks of cars to the dynamic resource center in operation today, My Friend’s Place offers comprehensive care including daytime shelter, food, clothing, showers, creative arts workshops, employment services, clinical case management and housing support. Each year, My Friend’s Place serves more than 1,400 homeless youth between the ages of 12 and 25 and their children, providing non-mandatory, low-barrier, individualized care to help these young people move toward brighter futures of wellness, stability and self-sufficiency.
