The RISE Partnership

PropelNext is proud to be part of the RISE Partnership, a three-year, $3 million program that will amplify the impact of Philadelphia area nonprofits.

We announced the RISE Partnership (Readiness, Implementation, and Sustainability for Effectiveness) in late 2018 along with The Scattergood Foundation, United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey and other funders. The initiative will combine resources, expertise and tools to strengthen the effectiveness of more than 100 nonprofits in the Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey region.

We are joined in this effort by The Barra Foundation, Campbell Soup Foundation, The Grace S. and W. Linton Nelson Foundation, The Horner Foundation and The Philadelphia Foundation.

The RISE Partnership in the Philadelphia/Southern New Jersey community is our first regional cohort outside of California.  It is based on our PropelNext program and The Scattergood Foundation’s Building Evaluation Capacity Initiative (BECI), which was developed and implemented in partnership with The Consultation Center at Yale University.

The program builds off the assets of the community and will provide a range of tools and services to support organizations working to improve the lives of people in the area. These include: training and support to build Readiness for measuring and driving program outcomes; Implementation of an intensive program of internal evaluation capacity building; and Support for an alumni learning community to sustain and extend gains achieved.
